Animal Planet star Jeff Corwin’s show at Chadron State College’s Memorial Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 1, has been sold out.

Shellie Johns, CSC coordinator of conferencing, said all 673 tickets for “Tales from the Field with Jeff Corwin” were sold as of Thursday and about 50 names are on a waiting list. Because of the large crowd, she is encouraging people who reserved tickets to pick them up at the Memorial Hall Box Office either Monday or Tuesday afternoon. Its hours are 2-6 p.m.

“If people come to Memorial Hall expecting to pick up their tickets right before show time, we may have long lines and there might not be enough time to get them seated before it begins,” she said.

Corwin, an animal and nature conservationist, has gained familiarity both nationally and internationally as a host of shows on Animal Planet and other networks. His shows include “The Jeff Corwin Experience” and “Corwin’s Quest.”

Corwin’s show will be the fourth of five events in CSC’s Galaxy Series of fine arts and cultural events. The series will conclude Thursday, April 21, with the Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival.
