Schools, job-seekers to meet at Teacher Interview Day

Representatives from more than 15 schools will be at Chadron State College on Friday, March 4, to meet potential teachers. The annual CSC Teacher Interview Day will be 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Center.

Teacher Interview Day is designed to provide a convenient way for school districts and job-seekers to connect for interviews. It is free for all current and prospective teachers who are interested in new opportunities.

Janet Hartman of CSC’s Career and Academic Planning Services said the job-seekers should dress professionally and bring resumes to the event.

Following is the list of schools that have signed up so far:

Nebraska: Chadron, Crawford, Gordon-Rushville, Grand Island and St. Mary’s at O’Neill.

South Dakota: Bennett County at Martin, Black Hills Children’s Home of Rapid City, Hot Springs, Porcupine, Shannon County at Batesland, and Rapid City.

Wyoming: Converse County at Douglas, Goshen County at Torrington, Hot Springs County at Thermopolis, and Newcastle.
