Speakers set for Graves Series

Chadron State College’s Reta King Library has lined up community members with a wide range of expertise to speak during the spring portion of the Dorset Graves Lecture Series.

Each of the five presentations, which are open to the public free of charge, will begin at 7 p.m. in room 108 of the King Library.

Following is the schedule:

February 15 – Chadron massage therapists Kate Anderson, Chloe Sutliffe, Jerri Woodard and Heather Russell: “The Physical, Mental and Spiritual Aspects of Massage.”

March 1 -- Harvey Brenneise, CSC Reta King Library Head of Public Access Services: “Darwin’s Sexy Orchids: On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.”

March 15 -- Ann Buchmann, CSC Associate Professor of Science: “The Bacteria Who Ate Arsenic for Breakfast and Other Microbial Oddities.”

March 29 -- Leslie Caswell, CSC Department of Education Graduate Assistant: “Holistic Health and Work Place Wellness.”

April 12 -- Shellie Johns, CSC Coordinator of Conferencing: “Funny Things That Happened on the Way to the Galaxy Series.”
