Spring semester begins Monday

Chadron State College begins its spring semester Monday, Jan. 10, offering hundreds of courses both online and in a traditional classroom setting.

Even though the official start of the semester is Monday, CSC officials are reminding students that a variety of classes will be starting up later this spring.

“It’s never too late to get the process started,” said Dr. Randy Rhine, CSC vice president for enrollment management and student services. “Even if people don’t get enrolled for classes that start Monday, we have many eight-week online courses that will begin later in the semester.”

Rhine encourages potential students to visit the CSC website, 1v.wxzjnt.com, and to contact the admissions office to learn more about programs and course offerings.

Students looking for scholarship assistance should be mindful of upcoming deadlines. The scholarship application deadline for high school seniors and others who are looking to enroll as freshmen at CSC this fall is Jan. 15. Transfer students have until March 1. Details and application materials may be found at the “financial aid and scholarships” link of the website.
