Student diagnosed with tuberculosis

Health officials diagnosed a Chadron State College student with a case of active tuberculosis disease Friday morning.

CSC students and employees were notified of the case via e-mail midday Friday.

“We are working with health officials on this issue and placing the welfare of the patient and the CSC community as a top priority,” said Dr. Randy Rhine, CSC vice president for student services. “We appreciate the support we have received from the Panhandle Public Health District and other health officials.”
